A plea agreement is in the works in a ten year-old homicide case. Attorneys told Judge Billy Sipe during a March 16th hearing that a “global resolution” is near in the case against David Bounds, 41.
Bounds is charged with conspiracy and first degree murder in the death of Christopher Gromberg. The Kingman man was shot and killed in Lake Havasu City in April, 2006.
Bounds wasn’t charged in the murder until after he began serving a 14-year prison sentence for robbery convictions. Bounds would be transported from the Department of Corrections if a plea agreement is to be entered.
The next hearing for Bounds is scheduled May 10.
