Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Jason Rashad Escoffery, 33, of Cocoa, FL, and Miguel Angel De Los Santos, 33, of Altamonte Springs, FL, early Saturday (12/19) morning. Escoffery was arrested on seventeen counts of forgery, four counts of possession of forged device and fraudulent schemes, all felonies. De Los Santos was arrested on nine counts of forgery, four counts of possession of forged device and fraudulent schemes, all felonies. At about 12:40 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop eastbound on Interstate 40 near milepost 60. Deputies contacted Escoffery, the driver, and De Los Santos, the passenger. A Kingman Police Department K9 Handler responded and assisted. The K9 Handler deployed his K9 to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle. The K9 alerted his handler to the vehicle. A DPS Trooper responded and assisted. A search of the vehicle revealed an identification printer, a digital camera, a card skimmer and numerous fake ids. About 17 identifications with Escoffery picture on them with different names and license numbers along with 9 identifications with De Los Santos picture on them with different names and license numbers. Escoffery and De Los Santos were taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
