Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Paul Jackson, 32, of Mohave Valley, early Saturday (9/6) evening on two counts of aggravated assault per domestic violence, felonies, along with five misdemeanor warrants all issued by Bullhead City Justice Court; a disorderly conduct and four for failure to appear. The original charges for the failure to appear warrants: assault per domestic violence, two for disorderly conduct per domestic violence and a failure to pay fines and counseling. Approximately 7:20 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence assault report at a residence in the 10500 block of Star Road. While enroute, deputies learned the suspect identified as Jackson left the scene. A records check showed Jackson to have active warrants. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a witness. The witness said that Jackson, her son, became upset with his wife for changing the radio station in their car when they arrived at the residence. The witness further said that Jackson pushed his wife to the ground when they got out of their car. The witness advised that Jackson started hitting her boyfriend because he told Jackson to stop. Investigations determined that Jackson punched his wife, a 32-year-old victim, numerous times and he knocked out her front tooth. Further investigations determined that Jackson assaulted a 42-year-old male victim. Deputies contacted other witnesses and they said that Jackson was chasing people around with a shovel. Jackson returned to the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. Jackson was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
