Timothy Eugene Lewis, 49, of Lake Havasu City, was arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday, June 16 on suspicion of assault per aggravated domestic violence, disorderly conduct per aggravated domestic violence, felonies, along with assault, disorderly conduct and prevent use of phone in emergency, misdemeanors.
On June 5, deputies responded to an assault report in the 2200 block of E Pero Drive. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 39-year-old female victim. The victim further said that she went to her neighbor’s house after Lewis, her husband, had gotten upset with her. The victim advised that Lewis came over to the residence and continued arguing with her. The victim reported that the incident escalated when Lewis slammed her up against the wall several times and he threw her neighbor to the ground. The victim further reported that she hit Lewis with a frying pan after he continued attaching her and her neighbor.
Deputies contacted the victim’s neighbor, a 61-year-old female victim. The victim said that she received bruises after Lewis grabbed her and threw her to the ground. The victim further said that Lewis threw her phone when she attempted to call police. Deputies observed bruises on both victims. Deputies contacted Lewis via the telephone. Lewis advised that he was bleeding from his mouth as he had been struck by a frying pan.
Lewis further said that his wife was fighting with him and it happens a lot. While deputies were speaking with Lewis, the phone line went dead. Deputies attempted to call Lewis back without success. The following days deputies left numerous phone messages for Lewis.
A computer history check showed Lewis to have at least four prior domestic violence charges against him. On Tuesday, June 16 deputies learned the whereabouts of Lewis. At about 11:00 a.m., deputies contacted Lewis at Pero Road and London Bridge Road where he was taken into custody without incident.
He was transported and booked into the Mohave County jail.
