Marylou Louise Martin Patrick Reed SkinnerMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Patrick Reed Skinner, 56, and Marylou Louise Martin, 29, both of Kingman, late Thursday (10/15) evening.  Skinner was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies, and driving with a suspended license.  Martin was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, taking contraband into a corrections facility, felonies, and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court.  Approximately 11:20 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle speeding in the 2100 block of Lass Avenue.  Deputies contacted Skinner, the driver, and Martin, the passenger.  During conversations with Skinner, he said his license is expired.  Deputies had Skinner exit his vehicle.  A records check confirmed Skinner’s license to be suspended.  Skinner was taken into custody without incident.  A records showed Martin to have an active warrant.  Martin was taken into custody without incident.  Martin denied having drugs on her when Deputies questioned her.  As Deputies were preparing the vehicle to be towed, they observed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance lying under the vehicle by the driver’s door.  Upon further inspection, deputies observed the bag lying on top of the tire track the vehicle had made.  Deputies observed crystals in the bag that were not crushed by the tire.  Deputies contacted Skinner and he said the bag was not his.  Skinner and Martin were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.  A search of Martin conducted by a Detention Officer at the jail revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal substance located in her bra.
