Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark Henry Denny Jr., 39, of Mohave Valley, late Friday (8/21) afternoon on two counts of obtaining utility services fraudulently, felonies. At about 4:10 p.m., deputies responded to a report of theft of services at a residence in the 7800 block of S Oriole Drive. Upon arrival, deputies contacted an employee of a water company. The employee reported that the residence water is hooked up illegally. The employee further said that the water has been disconnected to Mark Denny at this residence. Deputies contacted Denny hiding inside the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. Deputies charged Denny with an additional count of obtaining utility services fraudulently as noted above stemming from an incident on August 14th where his residence used 465 gallons of water after the service was shut off on August 10th. Denny was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
Denny was arrested with the additional charges of possession of weapon by prohibited person, four counts of theft and three counts of theft of means of transportation, all felonies, resulting from the following incident which was reported on August 3, 2015:
