Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Joseph Anthony Bourgeois, 37, Jessica Nichole Roberts, 28, both of Kingman, and Samantha Jean Carignan, 24, of Golden Valley, early Thursday (12/11) morning. Bourgeois was arrested for false report to law enforcement, a misdemeanor. Roberts was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, felony, along with the following misdemeanors; a false report to law enforcement, a failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court and three warrants issued by Kingman Justice Court for failure to appear and two failure to pay fines. Carignan was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, felony, along with false report to law enforcement and a failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court, both misdemeanors. Approximately 4:23 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a shattered windshield on Stockton Hill Road at Northern Avenue. Deputies contacted Bourgeois, the driver, and two female passengers. During the investigation, deputies determined the female passengers falsely identified themselves and Bourgeois confirmed their false names. Bourgeois, Roberts and Carignan were taken into custody without incident. A records check showed Roberts and Carignan to have outstanding warrants. A search of Roberts purse revealed tin foil containing black residue, a syringe and three cotton filters. A search of Carignan’s purse revealed a used syringe and four cotton filters with black residue. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
