Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Danny Eugene Douglas Jr., 18, of Kingman, Tuesday (12/23) morning for three counts of sexual assault per domestic violence and one count of molestation of a child per domestic violence, all class 2 felonies. Investigations began October 28 regarding a delayed sex offense report. The reporting party said that she recently learned that her three children were molested by Douglas three years ago when they all lived in the same residence in the 1800 block of Calle Agrada in Fort Mohave. The victim’s ages three years ago were 6, 8, and 11. During the investigation, detectives learned that Douglas no longer lived in the area. Upon further investigation, detectives learned Douglas to have a fugitive from justice felony warrant issued out of El Paso Colorado on original charge of sexual assault and a failure to appear felony warrant issued out of Navajo County in Arizona on original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives recently learned the whereabouts of Douglas. Approximately 9:04 a.m., detectives contacted Douglas during a traffic stop on N Marshall Drive and E Packard Avenue where he was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
