The 30-member  Cactus Critters club, consisting of children ranging from ages five to 19 from the Kingman area,  researched the various local animal shelters and sanctuaries, took a vote amongst its members and decided to donate the 75 pounds of cat food, 180 pounds of dog food and supplies to FTLOP. According its members, they conducted fundraisers and personally donated to purchase the food and supplies.

Another 4-H “Learn Through Service” project the club members participated in this year was making handmade Valentine cards and they delivered them to the residents residing at the Desert Highland Care Center in Kingman.
