The Arizona Department of Transportation will begin a project to install four cattle guards on Monday (Oct. 5) across the exit/entrance ramps for US 93, just south of the Hoover Dam bridge at the Kingman Wash traffic interchange (milepost 2).

Next week’s work will take place off the roadway, and no lane closures will take place.

Beginning Tuesday (Oct. 13), crews will work overnight from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday through Thursday. One travel lane will remain open in each direction, and minimal travel impacts are expected.  The speed limit will be reduced and drivers should be alert for construction workers and equipment.

The $260,000 improvement project is expected to be completed in November.
