Everyone from the tri state area is invited to get down and dirty in Kingman. The city parks and recreation department offers its 38th annual Mud Mania event on Thursday, July 14.
Participants will race through a mud-filled obstacle course in friendly competition.
“When you come down, be prepared to get dirty,” said Recreation Coordinator Fryan Fruhwirth. He said those who wear flip flops lose them to the mud so he encouraged that competitors use old shoes or water socks to navigate the course.
There’s no charge to enter the races, but Fruhwirth encouraged early arrival and registration in advance of the races that start at 10:00 a.m. The event is held at Firefighters Memorial Park, on Detroit Avenue.
