It happened shortly before 10 a.m. on Highway 68, about 3.5 miles from the Bullhead City limits. According to Arizona Department of Public Safety Spokesman Quentin Mehr, a passenger vehicle was westbound on Highway 68 when the driver, for unknown reasons, lost control of the vehicle. The driver, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was ejected from the vehicle and died from his injuries.
A passenger in the vehicle was airlifted from the scene and transported to a hospital in Las Vegas. Their current condition is not known at this time.
DPS is continuing their investigation.
