Construction to improve three traffic intersections on State Route 95 in Bullhead City is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Jan. 20, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation and the city of Bullhead City. The safety improvement work will begin at the Bullhead Parkway intersections at Adobe Road and Silvercreek Road. In early April crews are scheduled to begin work at the Miracle Mile and Mohave Drive intersection. The improvement work will include adding a turn lane at the Silvercreek Road intersection, new curb and gutter, guardrail, signing and pavement markings. Crews are scheduled to work 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The $461,000 project is scheduled to be completed in mid-May. ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zones with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
