Mohave County and Golden Valley area residents interested in identifying roadway improvements for potential future implementation along the State Route 68 corridor are invited to participate in an open house meeting, hosted by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
- May 24 (Tuesday)
- 5:30 to 7 p.m. (5:45 p.m., brief presentation from Alvin Stump, Northwest District Engineer)
- Golden Valley Public Safety Training Center, 423 S. Colorado Road
Several dozen area residents provided input during the project’s initial November 2015 public meeting. In addition to reviewing the public feedback, the study team has analyzed the existing and projected traffic and safety data within the project limits (mileposts 14 to 27). This information will be presented at the meeting.
Study team members will be available to answer questions about several proposed roadway design alternatives and potential safety improvements – including intersection access control, a raised median and roundabouts.
