Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Holly Lynn Moore, 31, of Kingman, late Monday (7/27) morning for aggravated assault on a minor, felony, and assault, misdemeanor. Approximately 11:32 a.m., deputies responded to an assault report at a residence in the 3600 block of John L Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies observed a female subject standing next to a vehicle. Deputies contacted the female subject identified as Moore. Deputies observed Moore having to lean against the vehicle as she was having a hard time keeping her balance. Moore advised that she had not been drinking when deputies inquired. Deputies contacted the reporting party inside the residence. The reporting party said that Moore and a friend of Moore’s stopped by her residence this morning and the both of them were drinking alcoholic beverages. The reporting party further said that she had Moore’s car keys because Moore should not be driving. The reporting party advised that Moore got upset with her over the keys and Moore grabbed her by the neck. During the incident, the reporting party’s two children ages 12 and 15 were hit by Moore when they tried to divert Moore from harming their mother. Deputies observed redness around the reporting party’s neck and her 15-year-old daughters’ neck. Moore was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
