AAndrew James Parrisndrew James Parris, 37, of Kingman, was arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies on Monday, June 22 on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/dangerous instrument, felony. 

Approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Gordon and Castlerock in reference to an assault report. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a 23-year-old male victim. The victim said that he was at his girlfriend’s house earlier in the 3500 block of Mallard Drive. 

The victim said that Parris assaulted him as he was leaving his girlfriend’s house. The victim advised that Parris is his girlfriend’s former husband. The victim reported that Parris struck him in the chin with a small metal bat before Parris left in a vehicle. Deputies observed swelling on the victim’s chin. A short time later, deputies located Parris at a relative’s residence in the 4200 block of North Glen Road where he was taken into custody without incident.

 Parris was booked into the Mohave County jail without incident.
