Robert Lee SnyderMohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Lee Snyder, 45, a transient, early Tuesday (5/26) afternoon for aggravated domestic violence, aggravated assault – impede breathing per domestic violence, felonies, and a failure to appear misdemeanor warrant issued by Bullhead City Municipal Court.  Approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to a store in the 4800 block of Highway 95.  Dispatch advised that an employee was calling for a female subject because her boyfriend assaulted her and he was outside.  Upon arrival, deputies contacted a 46-year-old female victim.  The victim reported that Snyder, her boyfriend, assaulted her the night before in the desert.  The victim further reported that Snyder became angry when he started kicking her in the side and she almost passed out when he was choking her.  Deputies observed bruises on both sides of the victims’ neck.  Deputies contacted Snyder outside of the store.  A records check showed Snyder to have an arrest warrant.  Snyder was taken into custody without incident.  During conversations with Snyder, he said her prior boyfriend beat her up.  The victim complained of rib pain on both sides of her body.  Deputies observed fresh bruises on both sides of the victim.  Fort Mohave Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim Valley View Medical Center.  A computer check on Snyder showed a history of domestic violence arrests.  He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
