Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Alisha Rae Gutowski, 21, of Fort Mohave, early Tuesday (1/20) evening for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, felonies, along with assault and disorderly conduct, misdemeanors. Approximately 6:04 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a business located in the 5400 block of Highway 95. Dispatch advised that a female subject was shoving the manager of the business. Upon arrival, deputies observed the manager sitting on top of a female subject later identified as Gutowski. As deputies were taking Gutowski into custody, she pulled away while she was yelling and screaming. Deputies regained control of Gutowski and took her into custody. Gutowski kicked the deputy numerous times in the upper leg as she was being escorted to the patrol vehicle. Deputies contacted the manager and he said that Gutowski is an employee at the business. The manager said that Gutowski was causing a disturbance and he told her to leave. The manager further said that he waited at the front door after Gutowski walked outside. The manager reported that Gutowski approached him at the entrance when she began to spit, shoved him numerous times and she struck him in the face with her fist. The manager further reported that he proceeded to put Gutowski on the ground and wait for authorities. Fort Mohave Fire Department personnel responded and Gutowski refused a medical evaluation. Gutowski was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without further incident.
