Jose Sebastian Parsons, 38, of Mohave Valley, was arrested by Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies Tuesday on suspicion of aggravated DUI – suspended license, felony, and two misdemeanor warrants for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court and Bullhead City Justice Court.
At about 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to a suspicious male subject driving a white Ford truck in the 4100 block of Thompson Avenue. Dispatch advised the male driver approached a girl offering to give her a ride home. Upon arrival, deputies observed the truck pull into a business parking lot. Deputies contacted Parsons, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol on Parsons.
During conversations with Parsons, he said that he had two beers. Following the field sobriety tests (FST’s), Parsons was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office where a blood sample was taken from him and will be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for further analysis.
A records check showed Parsons to have a suspended driver’s license and two active warrants. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
