Bullhead City Animal Care and Welfare (ACW) officers are seeking a dog and its owner for standard quarantine procedures after a recent dog bite.
On Sunday, December 27th, ACW officers were called to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for a 57-year-old female who had been bit by a stray dog. The victim said that she was picking up a newspaper from outside her residence, in the 1400 block of Willow Lane, when a dog came up behind her and bit her on the hand.
The dog is described as a black and brown Shepard mix, possibly named “Oreo”.
Animal Care and Welfare officers are looking to find the dog and owner to conduct a standard rabies observation quarantine.
