christmas treeAquarius Casino Resort’s 3rd Annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction will take place Saturday, November 29 through Friday, December 19, 2014, to benefit Aquarius’ highly successful “Feed A Family” program, which helps local families in need this holiday season. Aquarius will auction off ten fully decorated Christmas trees, each with their own themes, to the highest bidders. Themes of the trees for this year include snowflakes & icicles, Island Santa, finials & flowers, Hello Kitty, USA, sports and more. Bids start at $100 per tree, with additional bids accepted in increments of $20. All bids can be placed at the Aquarius ace | PLAY™ center and then guests will be notified if their bid is exceeded. Trees can also be purchased on the spot for $750 with no additional bidding. The trees will be on display in the Aquarius lobby. “We invite everyone to stop by Aquarius to enjoy these beautiful trees while they are on display, and hopefully, take one home,” said Aquarius Casino Resort General manager Sean Hammond. “This annual Christmas Tree Silent Auction not only provides guests a beautiful fully decorated tree, but another way to help local families who are struggling.”  Last year Aquarius raised more than $3,100 to benefit the “Feed A Family” program through the Christmas Tree Silent Auction. The “Feed A Family” program helps put a holiday meal on the tables of many tri-state area families in need, by allowing ace | PLAY members to contribute player points to the program. For every 12,000 ace | PLAY points contributed, Aquarius will purchase a box of holiday food items large enough to feed a family of four. The 3rd Annual Aquarius Casino Resort Christmas Tree Silent Auction officially ends on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 5 p.m. Winners will be able to either pick up their tree or have it shipped directly to their home in time for the Christmas holiday.
