download (2)On TUESDAY, JANUARY 268:45 AM Students at Sunrise Elementary School in Bullhead City will be educated and entertained by firefighters dressed as clowns or acting as puppeteers.  It’s part of the Arizona Fire & Burn Educators’ Association annual Risk Reduction Through Characterization Camp, which is being held this week at Harrah’s Laughlin.

The program will not just be educational for the students: it is also educational for the firefighters, as those performing and demonstrating at Sunrise are being mentored and trained by others from across the area, including the Bullhead City Fire Department.  Most of the firefighters participating at Sunrise are expected to be from the Round Rock, TX, fire department.

Additional information about the conference is available at http://www.afbea.org/event/risk-reduction-through-characterization-camp-2016/, while information about the organization is at http://www.afbea.org/about.

Sunrise Elementary is located at 2645 Landon Drive, just east of the Bullhead Parkway.
