As the video gaming world focuses its attention on the massive E3 exposition in Los Angeles, the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe is watching closely to see what students can expect to come next in their multi-billion dollar industry.  UAT Game Studies Chair Derrick Clark says that, while many Arizonans may not play video games much, this industry is bigger than they might think with earnings surpassing Hollywood.
Clark says Arizona is very visible in the industry, with his school alone responsible for numerous graduates working for some of the largest companies, like Blizzard and EA.  Clark says that this is a competitive field but it is also one where a passionate student is almost assured of success.  Clark says many of his students are now working for these large game publishers and will likely be present at E3.
