Police are on the lookout for a couple of armed robbery suspects who knocked off a Phoenix convenience store in June.  Sergeant Jaime Rothschild with Silent Witness says the suspects ran into a Circle-K and pistol-whipped the clerk before he even knew what

was happening.  The two then robbed the store of cash and cigarettes all the while terrorizing the clerk waving the gun at his face.  The first suspect is described as an African-American man in his 20’s with a medium build who was wearing a blue bandanna to hide his face.  The second suspect is also an African American man in his 20’s with a blue bandanna, white-rimmed sun glasses and carrying a Sponge Bob backpack.  Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
