An arrest was made after a drive by shooting in Dolan Springs Thursday, July 6. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office said the early morning violence occurred outside a home in the 6800 block of Stirrup Circle.

Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter said investigators determined that the victim had been in an argument at a business with a suspect identified as William D’Errico, 66. Carter said D’Errico drove home and retrieved a weapon before driving back to the victim’s residence.

Carter said the victim was outside his home when D’Errico drove by and shot him at about 4:34 a.m. She said the 48-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was released following treatment at Kingman Regional Medical Center.

Carter said D’Errico admitted involvement when he was located more than five hours after the shooting. He was arrested and booked into jail for attempted murder.
