QUINTANAA plea agreement has been entered for a Lake Havasu City man who tried to torch his own brother in October, 2013. The deal prescribes an arson of an occupied structure conviction for Jovan Quintana, 21, while an endangerment charge is dismissed. Deputy Mohave County attorney Rod Albright said an angry Quintana kicked in the door to his brother’s bedroom “pouring gas all over the place” before lighting a fire in the living room of the home at 1565 Navigator Drive. “Jovan ignited the gasoline which completely burned the victim’s bedroom, bathroom and hallway,” said police sergeant Kirk Cesena. The residence also incurred smoke damage. No one was injured. Quintana will be placed on probation and faces up to six months jail time when sentenced March 30 by Mohave County Superior Judge Steve Conn.
