An ASU Professor has died after crashing his plane in a Los Angeles intersection just south of Van Nuys Airport. Within minutes of take-off, 47-year-old Alberto Behar lost control of his plane that spiraled out of control and crashed at a busy neighborhood intersection. A Federal Aviation Administration official says the plane
went down Friday afternoon shortly after take-off. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Behar was a Robotics Professor at ASU and it’s believed the plane was an experimental, amateur-built plane. No one was in the intersection at the time of the crash.
