A baby thrown from a car following a serious crash along Interstate-10 overnight near Casa Grande survives.  spokesman Bart Graves with the Department of Public Safety says a baby boy was ejected from a car after a driver lost control and rear-ended a car which sent it spinning into the opposite lane. The baby was

air-lifted to a nearby hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.  One driver was hospitalized in stable condition and two other drivers sustained minor injuries. The crash caused a massive back-up that lasted about six hours.  Several drivers fell asleep waiting for the I-10 to clear and troopers had to wake them up around 3 a.m. to get traffic moving.
