breaking newsLAUGHLIN, NEV.– A barricaded subject inside the Colorado Bay Club condominium complex has Las Vegas Metro police SWAT teams en route to Laughlin. The subject is believed to be responsible for an armed robbery at a convenience store this morning. The robbery took place shortly before 8 a.m., Nevada time at the 76 station and convenience store in the 3000 block of Needles Highway. According to Lt. John Healy, commander of Metro’s Laughlin substation, officers pursued the suspect to the Colorado Bay Club complex. Metro has closed off El Mirage Way at Banyon Dr. Motorists are be rerouted through the Canyon Terrace neighborhood. Neighbors inside the complex are being evacuated as a precautionary measure.
