JOHN MOORE - AGGRAVATED DUI - BULLHEAD CITYA Bullhead City man arrested for causing $10,000 damage to an entrance gate in the Desert Foothills neighborhood last month was arrested again over the weekend on charges he tried to set up his wife with bogus claims of physical abuse.  John Charles Moore, 50, was charged with false reporting to law enforcement Saturday night when he told Bullhead City police that his wife had assaulted him. A police department spokesman says that Moore went to the police station to report the alleged crime, which initiated an investigation. It didn’t take officers long to prove the story was a complete falsehood. They managed to confirm that Moore’s wife wasn’t even in town at the time of the alleged assault. Police later determined that the wife had obtained an order of protection against her husband.  Officers returned to Mr. Moore’s residence in the 1000 block of Bella Luna Dr. and took him into custody. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. It was a week earlier that he was jailed on charges of felony criminal damage and aggravated DUI for crashing his vehicle into the entrance gate at the subdivision where he lives.
