The Bullhead City Police Department now provides an avenue for people who want to safely and anonymously dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications. Once medication has been deposited into the collection box, it will be destroyed as all drugs will be received as abandoned property.
All pills must be placed in a zip lock baggie, which will be provided at the counter free of charge. Please remove or black out personal information on the prescription bottles.
Acceptable items: all expired or unwanted prescription and over the counter medications.
Unacceptable items: Syringes/injectables, intra-venous (IV) solutions, liquid products, illegal substances such as marijuana, personal/business mail, plastic containers and general trash items.
Citizens can discard their medications Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bullhead City Police Department lobby, 1255 Marina .
