A Tucson Big Lots goes up in Flames overnight.  Captain Barrett Baker with Tucson Fire says firefighters had to use a circular saw to cut their way into a Tucson “Big Lots” to get to a fire burning in the storage unit of the building.  Baker says the smoke was so thick and so heavy, crews had to use a thermal imaging

camera to make their way through the building.  The smoke, coupled with a number of obstacles the crews had to manipulate around, including pallets full of merchandise, made this a very challenging fire to fight. The fire was extinguished in no time and Baker credits the working sprinkler system for doing its job and keeping the fire at bay until firefighters arrived to put it out.  No one was hurt the cause of the fire is under investigation.
