The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Division of Boating Safety recently had the privilege of doing a demonstration at Nautilus Elementary School in Lake Havasu City on Monday, May 15.

During the demonstration deputies showed several classes a patrol boat, patrol vehicles, scuba gear and a remote operated submarine. Also, deputies spoke about boating safety, including the importance of wearing a life jacket.

After the presentation, the students presented deputies with several hand drawn pictures and letters thanking the Deputies at the Sheriff’s Office for their service to the community in honor of national police week.
