Kingman police report the arrest of a local man who reportedly admitted harming his son in a burst of anger. Jamar Williams, 29, was charged with child abuse.
An investigation began April 1 after police were summoned to Kingman Regional Medical Center where a boy was being treated. “The investigation
revealed that the four-year-old boy had been thrown against a wall and knocked unconscious after Williams lost his temper and threw the boy on the bed causing him to bounce and hit his head on the wall,” said Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper.
Cooper said the boy was released after treatment and that Arizona Child Safety personnel are looking into the matter.
