Police are on the hunt for a man who brutally attacked an elderly woman.  According to Phoenix police, a 60-year-old woman was walking down the street after leaving a grocery store overnight when a man grabbed her, wrestled her to the ground and pummeled her nearly unconscious.  The suspect dragged her body to a dark corner of the parking lot and attempted to sexually assault her.

Two men witnessed the incident and chased him off.  The Good Samaritans are only known as “TJ” and “Hatcher.”  The suspect is described as an Hispanic or Native American man, between the ages of 18 and 20.  He has a very thin build, about five-nine, clean shaven with a tattoo on the left side of his neck.  Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS where you will remain completely anonymous.
