Bullhead City is once again ready for another huge soccer tournament this weekend that is expected to have a significant impact on the local economy and bring talented youth soccer players and their families to the community.
The 6th Annual River Daze Tournament is a two day tournament that will be held Saturday, April 8 through Sunday, April 9. The City and AYSO Region 397 will host 123 youth soccer teams this year.
The teams will arrive on Friday evening to register and prepare for the tournament. All games will be held at Rotary Park Soccer Complex at 2315 Balboa Dr.
“We look forward to the significant economic impact of this tournament every year and encourage our businesses to welcome the youth participants and their families with open arms.” said City Manager Toby Cotter. “We appreciate the many long hours our local volunteers put into this fantastic tournament.”
In addition to the large soccer tournament, Rotary Park will also host the 67th annual Burro BBQ, which will feature great food, waterslides, bounce house, beer garden and kids play area. The Burro BBQ runs from 10am to 5pm.
