Police responding to an alarm at a commercial property ended up making a drug bust in Bullhead City. Officers were dispatched at 7:00 a.m. on April 17 to the business in the 2400 block of highway 95.

Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said officers determined that the door to the business had been kicked in but that it didn’t appear that anything had been stolen. She said a witness told officers that a male suspect left the area in a lime green car driven by a female.

Fromelt said police quickly loated the suspect vehicle parked off the road on River Gardens Drive. She said that the male passenger’s shoes matched the shoe print on the business door and a witness positively identified them.

“Inside the vehicle, police found numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia items, including approximately 39 grams of heroin and 4.9 grams of methamphetamine,” Fromelt said. She said Nathan Borland, 29, and Ruchelle Davila, 37, were arrested and booked into jail for various drug offenses.
