Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Cody Ray Flowers, 32, of Kingman, late Wednesday (1/28) evening for burglary, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Investigations began January 1, 2015, when a .357 gun was stolen. The victim reported that Flowers, his son, had stolen his gun from his residence in the 4700 block of North Casey Lane. The victim further reported that Flowers admitted to taking his gun and Flowers planned on bringing the gun back. Deputies attempted to locate Flowers without success. During the investigation, deputies contacted a friend of Flowers and he advised seeing Flowers with a gun around Christmas time. Wednesday (1/28) evening, at about 11:00 p.m., deputies contacted Flowers as he was riding a bicycle in the area of Roosevelt Street and Neal Avenue where he was taken into custody without incident. A search of Flowers revealed two small plastic bags containing a white crystal substance and a syringe containing a liquid. Both the substance and liquid tested positive for methamphetamine. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
