Police are on the hunt for a suspect shot and killed a man sitting at a bus stop in Central Phoenix.  Sergeant Vince Lewis with Phoenix Police says three people were hanging out at a bus stop on the southwest corner of 27th Avenue and Northern late Thursday night when a stranger confronted the trio.  Lewis

says an unknown adult black male was walking on the opposite side of the street and for some unknown reason began to yell and scream obscenities at the people waiting at the bus stop.  The confrontation became heated, words were exchanged, and the suspect pulled a gun and open fired at the group.  The suspect struck two people, killing one man in his 20’s.  The second victim was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.  The third person ran and hid from the suspect, escaping unharmed.  The suspect then fled the area.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.
