A family of three is fighting to survive after their car crashed into a canal. Fire Captain Benjamin Santillan says a car collided into another car that sent one car careening into a Phoenix canal. A 38-year-old woman and her two children, a 14-month-old boy and an eight-year-old boy, were trapped inside their car.
Firefighters rescued the family and transported them to a trauma center in critical condition. The driver of the other car involved the crash refused treatment. Phoenix Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Impairment may have been a factor.
