Dozens of people were hurt when a Toyota Corolla collided with a tour bus full of passengers in Bullhead City on Friday, June 30. Police Department public information officer Carina Spotts said the Toyota was southbound on the Bullhead Parkway when it struck the side of the tour bus as it was turning at Laughlin Avenue at about 9:00 a.m.
Bullhead City Fire Department public information office Lorrae Viles said four ambulances and 26 EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene. She said 45 people were treated at the scene while 37 others declined treatment.
Spotts said two bus passengers and the driver were transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center for treatment. She said four people in the Toyota, including a five-year-old child were transported to the same hospital while the male driver of the vehicle was flown in critical condition to a Las Vegas trauma center.
