A Canadian national who lives in Yucca faces prison time following his convictions for weapons offenses during his jury trial in Mohave County superior court. The jury returned guilty verdicts Friday, February 3 in the case against Robert Carnochan, 70.

Carnochan is a prohibited possessor due to a theft conviction in Washington State. He was found guilty of six counts of misconduct with a weapon for possessing a shotgun, two rifles and three handguns.

Carnochan will be sentenced by Judge Billy Sipe on March 14. He is also considered a “person of interest” in an ongoing investigation of three missing persons cases, each of them women whom he met online.
