  Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on the Mt. Trumbull Loop, BLM road 1069, early Thursday (5/25) evening. At about 5:07 p.m., deputies responded to the scene of an injury accident. Eric Avila was driving the truck with his cousin, Jose Najera as passenger. ONE DEAD, ONE INJURED IN BEAVER DAM ATV CRASH

  The Mohave County Sheriff’s office suspects alcohol played a role in a fatal ATV accident that occurred near the northwest Arizona community of Beaver Dam on Friday, May 12. Agency spokeswoman Trish Carter said the vehicle failed to negotiate a turn before it left the Rio Virgin Road and rolled one time at about 4:54 p.m. Carter said the driver, Jason Karpowich, 52, Littlefield, was fatally injured. PRISON IMPOSED FOR WITNESS INTIMIDATOR

  A five year prison term has been imposed for a Hells Angels motorcycle club member who resolved two criminal cases by plea agreement. The punishment imposed during a September 23 sentencing hearing was prescribed in the deal for Peter Bacon, 32, Golden Valley. Bacon pled guilty to conspiracy to traffic in stolen property for being a middleman in a weapons sale to a government informant in 2013.
