Aquarius Wins “People’s Choice” for Sixth Straight Year in Fiesta Fundraiser

Aquarius Casino Resort is celebrating! Aquarius won the prestigious “People’s Choice” award for the sixth year in a row at the 2014 margarita competition named, “Fiesta 2014,” that took place on Friday, July 11, 2014.  Aquarius also took home the title for best blended margarita, named “Chadberry” after Chad Nance, the Aquarius bartender that created it. Nance was also dubbed “Best Bartender” by Mohave Valley Daily Newspaper’s Readers in 2014. Fiesta 2014 is a fundraiser and competition that benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River. Since 1998, the Fiesta has become a fun, unique and popular way for the nonprofit organization that serves local area youth to raise funds, and for local mixologists to showcase their talent. This year’s event was sold out two weeks before the competition even began. Aquarius raised more than $750 from the money placed in the “ballot box” at the Aquarius booth. They also presented the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River with a check for $10,000. “Fiesta 2014 is all about margaritas for a mission, and we are proud to participate in it every year,” said Aquarius Casino Resort General Manager Sean Hammond. “Our team did incredible, but the real winners of this competition are the kids in the community who benefit from this event.” Each year the competitors can decorate their booths as they please. Aquarius’ theme showcased their 15 “Best...
