   Colorado River Union High School District voters have narrowly defeated a proposed bond issue (8,999-8,932). Winning school board seats were Kerry Burgess and Donna Williamson. COUNTY TARGETS MOSQUITOS AGAIN

Mosquito surveillance conducted this week by the Environmental Health Division (MCEHD) revealed several areas that met the protocol to conduct fogging. The MCEHD uses the CDC’s recommended matrix as a guide of when to fog. FOGGING: Adult Mosquito control application will begin on Wednesday evening November 2nd, around 6:00 pm, weather permitting.   Baron Pest Control was awarded the contract to provide larvicide and fogging services within Mohave County and will be conducting the ground fogging application. SCHOOL BOND VOTER INFORMATION EVENT

The Colorado River Union High School District will hold an open house and informational session Thursday (October 20) for interested voters about the school bond proposal on the November 8 ballot.  It begins at 10:30 am in the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce auditorium, 1251 Highway 95.    District officials have already addressed questions about the bond before numerous service, professional and political organizations in Bullhead City, Ft.
