A man wanted for sex crimes involving two young girls in Golden Valley has been arrested out of state. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office said Malakai Thomas Benta, 31, Golden Valley said Benta was a suspect in the ongoing sexual abuse of girls aged 12 and 14 at a residence in the 3200 block of Bryce Road. A plea agreement resolves misdemeanor charges filed against a woman who formerly operated the RUFF animal shelter in Golden Valley. Hillarie Allison, 60, has relocated to Roseville, California and her case was completed by attorneys in Justice Court on Tuesday, March 7. Allison is convicted of three counts of cruelty to animals. Court records and prosecutor James Schoppmann indicated the charges involved Allison’s neglect of three of her pet dogs. 26 VEHICLE PILEUP ON U.S. 93 OUTSIDE KINGMAN

   26 vehicles collided accordion style on the main highway leading from Las Vegas into Arizona Monday. The Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the calls for service for multiple traffic accidents on U.S. 93 about two miles north of the Kingman city limits began rolling in at 7:55 a.m. Agency spokesman Quentin Mehr said the first accident involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle. A Golden Valley man is charged with multiple sex offenses involving a teenage relative. An investigation began after the 17-year-old girl revealed allegations to a Kingman High School resource officer on Monday, January 23.
