South Fire Update

According to Mohave County Supervisor Buster Johnson the South Fire is in Refuge South of Needles. About 30 acres  has been consumed at this time. The wind is from the north around 16 mph and could gust up to 24. That will tend to drive the fire south away from Golden Shores but toward Topock. Although evacuations at this point do not appear to be necessary, they have notified the Red Cross to start looking at potential shelter sites in case the need arises.  Park Moabi has been EVACUATED. The fires started in Ca and  jumped the river.     https://www.google.com/maps/place/Alturas+Rd,+Topock,+AZ+86436/@34.7705091,-114.5481425,13.25z/data=!4m7!1m4!3m3!1s0x80ce1fa00890aaa3:0x8d676c47d7f81012!2sAlturas+Rd,+Topock,+AZ+86436!3b1!3m1!1s0x80ce1fa00890aaa3:0x8d676c47d7f81012?hl=en...
