DRUM AND BUGLE PERFORMANCE

  Some of Arizona’s finest young musicians will be rehearsing in Bullhead City this week on the first stop of a national tour and competition.  The Tempe-based Academy Drum and Bugle Corps of the Arizona Academy of Performing Arts will open its rehearsal to the public at Mohave High School on Thursday (June 23), from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. MOTOCROSS REZONE APPROVED

Mohave County supervisors have approved rezoning required for a motocross racing facility near the community of White Hills north of Kingman. The vote came after a resident indicated that he and other cattle ranchers opposed the project as a disruption to their quiet way of life in their remote location. Bullhead City is seeking volunteers for the 10th Annual Bullhead City River Regatta on August 13, 2016. The  eight mile-long Colorado River float is among the largest special events held in the Tri-State area.    City officials said community support is crucial to the continued success of the event.     The City has various positions for volunteers, including Hospitality Workers, Information Booth Attendants, Lost and Found Attendants, Golf Cart Drivers, and Water and Ice Attendants. Lake Havasu Community Choir Spring Concert
