INCREASED THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING OVER PORTIONS OF MOHAVE COUNTY TODAY

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL APPROACH FROM THE NW TODAY BEFORE MOVING EAST ACROSS UT TONIGHT & WEDNESDAY. THIS WILL INCREASE MOISTURE & AID IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEAVY RAIN PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF MOHAVE COUNTY FROM EARLY THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING. The national weather service in Las Vegas has expanded the Flash Flood watch to include North West  AZ, CA & NV, including…North West AZ: Lake Havasu & Fort Mohave & Lake Mead National Recreation, in CA: Cadiz Basin, Eastern Mohave Desert, & San Bernardino county-upper CO River. IN NV: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Las Vegas Valley, Lincoln, Northeast Clark County Sheep Range, Southern Clark County, Spring Mountains, Red Rock Canyon & Western Clark & South Nye County from 11 AM through Wednesday morning.
