    Mohave Community College is helping with an effort to fight poverty by teaching the homeless skills they can use to get back on their feet and earn a paycheck. FATAL FIRE INVESTIGATED IN LAUGHLIN

A fatal fire is under investigation at the Crown Point Apartment Homes in Laughlin. Clark County Fire Department spokesman Jeff Buchanan said personnel responded at 5:44 p.m. Monday to the fire at the apartment complex on the Needles highway. Crews extinguished the fire within ten minutes before locating a deceased subject in the burned unit on the upper level of the two story structure.
